Family owned and operated, northshore quality produce has been a favorite in the Federal Way community for over 8 years. The owners, John Wolf and Roxann Genzale, have a keen eye for choosing the freshest produce. They bring over 45 years combined experience in the produce business.
Roxann helped run her family business that was started by her Grandparents in the world famous pike place market. The Genzale family came from Italy with Roxann’s father Tony, who was just 9 at the time. The family settled in the Sunnydale area where they owned and and operated a truck farm, bringing farm-fresh produce to the pike place market every day. Fresh produce and customer service was a way of life for Roxann at a very young age.
In 1975, John began working on the farm for Tony Genzale (the boss). His first experiences included picking produce, bringing it to market, setting up the display and helping customers find exactly what they needed. This early experience helped John develop an appreciation for the entire process from farm to market.Eventually, John opened and operated his own business in the pike place market “Little Johns Produce” started in 1989.
